THE LECTURE

| Fear Wisely |
Effective use of the fear mechanism
"פחד הוא לא תקלה במערכת.
הוא שותף בכיר בה"

Fear is one of the most fascinating phenomena and has the most central impact on our lives. However, it is a phenomenon that most of us find very difficult to deal with, with the common tendency being to try to fight fear and "defeat it".
But is "overcoming fear" necessarily the right thing to do?
Kfir Yitzhaki is an international lecturer, author of the book "Unconventional Weapons - The Complete Guide to Using Fear", a jurist, mediator and founder of an international organization for the study of combat and combat psychology. As part of the organization, "INSTINCT - Integrated Israeli Combatives", which is now considered one of the leaders and largest in its field, Kfir flies to several different countries each year, with hundreds of men, women, children, police, security guards and military personnel studying under the organization every year.
In a pulsating lecture that delves deep into the issue of fear with high relevance to the lives of all of us, Kfir Yitzhaki describes the story of his life saturated with fears and revolutions, including the winding and painful path he took as a martial artist to win the Israeli Karate Championship; The decision to leave a prestigious career as an outstanding athlete to enlist in the IDF; Dealing with the notice of loss of vision following a complicated surgery; Permanent service as a fighter and head of combat training in the IDF's undercover unit - "Cherry"; The unique psychology required of undercover unit fighters; And memory loss during a training accident in the Cherry unit.
"Fear is not a malfunction in the system"
While a law student, he received a Civil Medal of Heroism after rescuing a raped girl while fighting and capturing the rapist, who was armed with a knife.
Breakthroughs usually occur precisely when fear is present. So sometimes we have to make a rational decision to run into a storm, and discover the solutions while running. "
And
Two years later, he chased and took over a terrorist with his bare hands during one of the most severe stabbing attacks during the knife intifada, an event in which he was not involved at all. During the terrorist's decision, Kfir was injured himself. Despite the injury and the extreme turn in his life, he struggled with the injury and decided to finish the law studies he had started.
And
"Thou shalt not stand against the blood of thy neighbor"
And
For risking his life to save others during the terrorist's decision, Kfir received a second Civilian Medal of Heroism. His actions and contribution to the security of the State of Israel gained international acclaim in many media around the world, and he was awarded the prestigious award - "Guardian Of Israel" ("Magen Israel"), on behalf of the global organization StandWithUs. The award ceremony in Los Angeles was attended by thousands of people, including ambassadors, senior IDF and US military officials, as well as former senior members of the Israeli and American security systems.
"Being brave does not mean erasing fear, but knowing how to harness it for your benefit."
The lecture is interwoven with authentic examples from the lives of all of us, rich content from diverse content worlds, fun demonstrations with the audience, and is accompanied by the unveiling of extraordinary documentation of most of the events described, including documentation of the rape chase and terrorist takeover. Step by step, event by event, during an inspiring but also entertaining lecture, Kfir teaches the insight why one should not necessarily fight fear, and how one can fear wisely.
And
Fear is not the enemy. It is an atomic weapon "
